Weldon Angelos

President & Co-Founder

Weldon Angelos is music producer who has worked with legends like Snoop Dogg, Tupac Shakur’s recording group, and Tory Lanez.

In 2004, Weldon became the national face of criminal justice reform after he was sentenced to a mandatory 55-year prison term for a $1000 worth of cannabis. His cause was championed by Senators Cory Booker & Mike Lee, celebrities, leading news organizations like the Washington Post & Rolling Stone magazine, and even the Koch brothers, which led to an early release in 2016 after serving 13 years of his 55-year sentence.

Since his release, Weldon has become a leading activist working to end the cannabis prohibition and reform our federal criminal justice system.

Hollis is a legendary music producer who has since turned his attention to television and documentary production. He has had an extensive music career that spans over 20 years in the industry and has released over 280 albums with iconic hip hop artists such as Snoop Dogg, The Game, Young Buck, Bone Thugs & Harmony, MC Eight, Case, and many more.

Brandon Bolton

Director of Social Equity

Brandon Bolton specializes in developing public-sector Cannabis Social Equity Programs. He has also been instrumental in consulting large private-sector cannabis businesses on developing their corporate responsibility plans with a social equity component. Through advocacy, grassroots efforts, and strategic partnerships with communities and local associations, he has authored and proposed cannabis social equity initiatives and policy with adoption successes at the city level. With almost a decade of direct experience in the cannabis industry, Mr. Bolton has cannabis business operations and sales management knowledge from seed to sale.

 
 

Kyle Kazan

Board of advisors

Kyle is an American businessman who is the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Glass House Brands. He is also a founder and chairman of Beach Front Property Management, Inc. and co-founder and managing member of Beach Front Properties, LLC.

Kyle has been a vocal advocate for police reform and ending the War on Drugs and its injustices, speaking on behalf of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP) and appearing in many media outlets ranging from CNN to Fox. He is a frequent guest professor at NYU Stern School of Business, USC Marshall Business School, and UCLA Anderson School of Management, and Kyle is a graduate of the University of Southern California, where he played varsity basketball for Hall of Fame Coach George Raveling.

Heidi Minx

Board of advisors

Heidi Minx is the Director of Special Projects for TAE Technologies. Minx’s diverse insight and skillsets come from two and a half decades of work with agencies serving leading brands and companies. For the past six years, she worked exclusively with businesses in the cannabis sector including The Sanctuary, Flow Kana, Juva Life, the Sonoma County Growers Alliance, Sonoma Lab Works, The Emerald Cup, SC Labs, and several cottage cultivators in Sonoma County.

She was named one of BrandWeek’s Top 10 Next Generation Marketers and has received accolades from Forbes for her work with California-based cannabis companies. In addition to her work with Weldon, she also advises the Sweetleaf Collective through her nonprofit, Built on Respect.

 
 

Al Harrington

Board of advisors

Al Harrington played 16 seasons with the NBA and is the CEO of cannabis company, Viola Brands. In October 2017, Harrington interviewed former NBA commissioner David Stern regarding cannabis use by players during which Stern told Harrington, "I'm now at the point where personally I think [cannabis] probably should be removed from the banned list. You've persuaded me."

 
 

Brady Cobb

Brady is the founder and former CEO of Bluma Wellness, Inc. and One Plant Florida, (recently acquired by Cresco Labs, Inc. in April of 2021 for $213 million dollars in an all-stock transaction.) Cobb is also a medical cannabis pioneer who uses his legal background to address cannabis policy reform. His interest in medical cannabis began with his father who was sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for helping to smuggle $300 million worth of cannabis into the U.S.

 
 

Keone Kela

Keone is the pitcher for the San Diego Padres; earlier this year he joined thirty-five rappers and athletes as a signatory to a letter drafted by Angelos urging President Biden to grant a full, complete and unconditional pardon to all persons subject to federal criminal or civil enforcement on the basis of non-violent marijuana offenses

 
 

Brendon Robinson

Brendon Robinson is the founder of 420NJEvents and cannabis consultant and entrepreneur. Brendon stepped away from an illustrious career in banking to answer the calling of his passion: social equity, cannabis reform, and uplifting people of color who have been harmed by the war on drugs. Robinson has started multiple ventures in cannabis focusing on erasing the stigma of cannabis.

 
 

Stanley Okoro

As the CEO and co-fonder of the Minority Cannabis Academy, Stanley has long held a passion for eliminating racial biases and inequities, particularly in the growing industry of cannabis as it becomes decriminalized and legislated for regulated use. With his work truly rooted in passion, Stanley’s driving aspiration is to provide equal opportunities to minorities as they emerge into the changing cannabis marketplace.

 
 

Kellen O’Keefe

Kellen is the President & CEO at Flower One; previously he was an early partner and the Senior Vice President of Business Development at MedMen.  His interests lie in addressing issues pertaining to the reform of the criminal justice system to reduce mass incarceration and creating equal opportunity to those disproportionately displaced by drug laws in the United States.

Todd Harrison is the Founding Partner / Chief Investment Officer of CB1 Capital Management. Todd has spent over three decades on Wall Street managing risk and researching financial market strategies. His institutional experience includes Morgan Stanley Equity Derivatives (VP), The Galleon Group (MD), and Cramer, Berkowitz LLC (President / Head of Trading).
